I’ve always been fascinated by the 18th century. It seems like the big period of transition. In Sapphic Enlightenment, a series of lesbian erotic stories, I try to recreate that time and explore it through love affairs between women. As you might have noticed, the General Board isn't really where people discuss their stories or writing in general. You might have better luck in Story Feedback or Story Discussion Circle, although they're both fairly quiet (particularly Discussion can be a wasteland for months on end).

If you want to talk about writing, you'll get more interaction over in the Authors' Hangout. In between endless threads about the problems with publishing on Lit, and some random nonsense, there's often some decent conversation about the craft.
