Historic Vaccine Mandates....why they are important

1. There will be no national vaccine mandate in the US.
2. The Wuhan virus is never going to be eradicated.

Looks like at ~60% the vaccine actually worked.

No one seems to have covid-19.

How long until they come up with vaccines for the rest of the variants?

Will there be a vaccine for each one?

Will the next vaccines for the next threat continue to be un-approvable mRNA tests?

I guess I am thankful there are enough sheep to get us to herd immunity. But I never got the flu shot annually either.

I wash my hands and avoid idiots that went to work sick. Not much one can do when they are on the metro, bus or plane....

I don't see a vaccine for stupidity on the horizon. Maybe this population control will eliminate some of the spawn. Like Al Gore suggested in his tax clearing house movie. Either create an imaginary tax or eliminate 30% of the population.

At least thus far the first two vaccines seem pretty good about the Delta variant so I highly doubt we see anything like a different vaccine for each version. There will eventually a 2.0 that is officially released and may even be recommended but if we can get people's shit together this will never evolve to the point of the flu.

And comparing this to the flu is foolish on its face. ITs nothing like like the flu.

2 is impossible if 1.

Unvaccinated Americans are and will be pariahs, banned from travelling to any country outside the US.

It is impossible with or without a US national vaccine mandate.

The UK's falling case rate shows what is possible now that nearly 90% of the adult population has had at least one jab - without a mandate, but by voluntary take-up.

Viruses have been eradicated there too.

Some have been eradicated, and it’s theoretically possible Covid could be too, but a quick scan of the literature indicates that very few experts seem to expect that with Covid. Most think it’s destined to become endemic.

For one thing, I don’t know of any major country that’s even considering a national mandate. It would take nearly all. Also, unlike childhood vaccines for measles, smallpox, and polio, we don’t yet know how children respond to the Covid vaccines. We don’t even know how lasting they are in adults. A vaccine campaign that requires few shots in early childhood is easier than one that requires annual shots for life. Third, unlike smallpox, Covid can be transmitted by asymptomatic people.
