Its not that hard, the easiest way is not to pay them back, but that usually just results in senseless violence.
however, know thine enemy and it can be fun
for a start loan sharks prey on the weak and defenseless - let me be very clear about that.
so when a loan shark get fed up they get angry, very angry.. they may let lose their dogs (usually smack heads, who are in the thrall of the shark). so when a loan shark harasses someone you know.. how to to respond?
it can start with a call to your house from Le Shark menacingly saying "I know where you live" ~shock horror change of underwear...
LE shark phones back next day "I know where you live" response "well you know my phone number.. but do you know who this is.. I thought not, ring me back in 10 minutes though 'cos I need the toilet"
Le shark phones back " I want my money and i know where you live" response "we kind of established that, to a degree, but you have also just phoned my number and the calls are logged by the service provider"
~click~
a few minutes later....
"look cunt I want my money" response "yes and you think you know where i live, but you dont know who i am or what i look like, now do you? is your car registration still (give Le Shark its own car reg number) ? .
so in the meantime get yourself a set of 'show' plates made up (ireland is a good internet market for this, with speedy delivery) with Le Sharks reg number on, hire a car of the same model and colour as Le Sharks.. look on a certain website that lists the active speed cameras in the area... and spend the day touring them all obviously only change the 'plates before the cameras and change them back after having been caught speeding!
obviously if Le Shark has recently decamped from the immediate area due to say, a series of totally unrelated gangland killings which have caused the local police to launch a campaign costing in excess of £250K per day, the notices of prosecution for a large number of speeding offences will go to Le Sharks registered address (i.e. the vehicle keeper as per the DVLA database) and will be unresponded to at which point when the police markers go on the vehicle bearing that registration (the hire car being returned and the 'show' plates destroyed) for a large number of unpaid speeding fines.....
Shit Happens
