Like General Kurt von Schleicher, the last pre-Nazi Chancellor of the Weimar Republic, Hillary has done some dirty deals, is a corrupt insider, is not trusted or liked by many, but like him, she is the last person standing between the Republic and a demagogue bent on a tyrannical, totalitarian regime. Because, make no mistake, if Trump gets his way, there is a very real risk of this country ceasing to exist or becoming a fascist police state.

Let's not emulate the Franz von Papens of the world and "deal" with Trump as he did with Hitler. Let's be willing to accept the eventual nominee, whomever it is, and frankly, it looks pretty clear that it's going to be Hillary, though my heart is still with Bernie.

With Silly Hilly in charge, it would certainly be one. This time, she would probably steal the White House furnishings earlier so she could get away with them. I don't know which of the two would be the greater disaster.

This is just like the 1932 Presidential Election....in Germany. Social Democrats didn't like Hindenburg, but they voted for him, anyway, just because the alternative was Hitler. Trump is the new Hitler. Period. Time to face up to what we'll get if he wins: fascism, xenophobia, racism, and worse.
