High/Low Traffic Days?

Has anyone seen any *relative* consistency in when Lit stories get more or less traffic?

Naturally I'm wondering when it's best to try to target a story's release to put it in front of the most eyeballs. I take for granted that mileage varies depending on story categories & how busy they are with new releases, but I'm wondering if anyone has seen patterns over time.

I usually get more views on the constest stories and more people reads the other stories during competitions.
