Oh God, I don't want to have to work on this story! It's so hard and I don't know what's going to happen and all I've written so far is embarrassingly lame shit.

Can I hide out here for a while? I mean, it's almost like working. I mean, I'm still sitting at the computer...

Why the hell do you think I'm here all the friggin time? So that I can tell my unfinished crap that I'm busy networking.

So hide out, you're in good (or at least some) company.

Ah ha! No excuses now, go post on my serious threads.

Perdita

(I knew that would make him go back to his story ;) .)

And all this time I thought I was the only one who looks for any excuse to avoid writing at times.

Come on dr. You certainly never have problems putting words into a story? Do you?

I have read so many fine works, and great feedback given for others. That I just assumed you have it easy. :D

Hard story? Does that mean you are challenging your abilities to write, perhaps differently than the norm?

Yes don't write lame shit, cause I will be the first to let you know if it is lame. We don't expect anything, but the best from you.

[laughing deviously]

Are you kidding? That's why I'm so well read.

Yes, I was kidding. I hardly ever try to avoid my stories they are so addictive to me. I think I want to know what happens more so than my readers.

Wicked wicked thoughts keep me going don't you know?

Embarrassing because it's very, very naughty?

Hey Dr. Just take a break from the story for awhile and come back at a later time with a clear head. You'll feel a lot better :)

Is "it" so hard? Or is the writing so hard? Enquiring minds want to know.
