This is probably a thread already but .... anyway. How do you get rid of a hickey fast. ..I just got a job and go to college. ..

Nothing that I know of will instantly make them go away. Arnica does a pretty good job of promoting faster healing.

Haemarrhoid cream - it's designed to disperse blood, so it works on bruises, hickeys and spider veins.

Arnica is amazing stuff. A few years ago, I got massive, deep bruises and broken blood vessels on my arms, so I bought the strongest arnica gel I could find. The worst of the bruising was gone within a week; it would have taken a good month for them to heal without the arnica. My husband has had similar results, and we also put it on our kidlet's bumps and bruises with great results.

So, I'd suggest getting the strongest arnica gel/cream (the gel I have absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue to get on clothes or anything) you can find right away, using it diligently, and covering the hickey up with clothing or makeup in the interim.

The only deviant thing in this thread is the implied belief that a hickey is somehow embarrasing or wrong.

Be proud of it. Let it show.

not sure if this works or not but some one once told me to take a plastic spoon and rub it over the area that is bruised and it helps to break down the blood...

Assuming you tolerate aspirin then that can help the body heal the bruising faster and an ice pack, if applied soon enough will reduce bruising too. Arnica gel on the skin too.
A steely grip on his testicles will also reduce the chances of recurrence "but I thought you liked that ...";)

I told him to bite me but I forgot to tell him not to bite my neck. ..I go to college and I have to stay work. ..I style my mom's makeup (her concealer is better then mine) and that is working

Yea - I know it does feel good and I've had one or two myself so I'm not being critical of you: getting carried away with passion is what its all about :)

Now I want a hickey! Last time I had one, I was about the age of the OP in the oral sex between virgins thread. Going to mention this to the hubs tonight.

Last time I gave one to the hubs, he wasn't best pleased. When we were coming up, it was sort of understood that hickeys were kind of crass. Guess he just hasn't overcome that programming yet.

The best thing I found for that type of bruise is light massage. You could do it with the arnica stuff as said above, but the idea is to draw circulation to the site while dispersing the blood from ruptured vessels. I got punched 4-5 times in the face a while ago, and the bruising was pretty bad. (badly swollen eyebrow and face, partial black eye. It actually hurt to wear glasses because my face was so swollen the temple cut into the bruised area.) I was able to cover some of it with makeup, but I couldnt risk being seen in the mornings before I had a chance to put it on. After a few days of light massage with plain facial moisturizer the marks had faded to a light bloody purple, then disappeared entirely.

cover up with a scarf, or you'll have to go to a make up store and find concealer that will match your skin tone

I ended up getting one so bad on my neck from a female friend that it was about the size of my fist and on my neck in plain site. She said that I was making yummy noises and that she couldn't stop. With no way to cover it I just went to work. I don't recall my cover story (some sort of injury that led to bruising) but no one even came close to thinking it was a hickey.
