Writing and cooking is all well and good, and they both have several things in common. Both involve taking fragmented peices that are fine on their own and turn them into something much more. Some pepper here, an idea there, a dash of salt and a pinch of plot are some of the ingrediants for a good dish and a creative tale, but the greatest of treats and stories can only be made through the fuel of inspiration.

Yes yes yes...poetry is like cooking with words.
You take a few words, pour them in a bowl, mix them up and make something delicious with them.

Ain't you sweet? You know the reason I started this thread originally was to flame some guy who sent me a nasty private message containing a photo of himself giving me the finger and the message "just...the titles of your stories are exciting". I tracked him and discovered while he has never submitted anything to literotica, he does frequent the Personals threads. But I decided not to let him bother me and posted the above instead.

Well seems some guys don't know the proper way to treat a woman, especially one was educated and creative as yourself. Sadly its a common traist the plauges the internet far much more than it should. But his foul seemds to be our gain to have the chance to get to know you.

And even though I do have a college education, I do believe that a life education is the most valuable one of all.
