Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a southern girl from Louisiana. I'm a writer. I study psychology. I'm a nerd. I play Dungeons and Dragons. That about covers it.

I'm new here. I've read some amazing stories on this site. I just submitted one of mine for the first time. Still waiting for approval. I hope this will be a great opportunity to make friends with fellow authors and revel in awesome stories. Nice to meet y'all. :)

Welcome!

You are one of my people!! :)

Well, the nerdy D&D playin' writer type, anyway. Never been to Louisiana. Someday.

Welcome to the club. Feel free to ping me with whatever. Post links to your stories here when they come out (it'll be about three days after submission on average), and remember that this is the internet with all its inherent benefits and drawbacks. Turns out the trolls here still regenerate even after flame damage, so ignoring them is the best option.

(Also, I wrote this here story for people Just. Like. You. http://www.literotica.com/s/days-of-high-adventure )

I've been to Louisiana.. Lived there for a year, with my ex. My memories of it aren't overly fond. Mostly due to the ex though :p

I'm also a nerdy D&D playing writer type.. just without much writing these days. Hope to get my inspiration back soon though.

Anyway, welcome to the AH! Don't feed the trolls :)

If you're planning to write from your D&D experience, know that Sci-Fi&Fantasy and Non-Human are two of the most accepting categories on the site. You can range pretty far afield with your kinks, and the readers tend not to zap you with low scores so long as you give them a little warning about edgier stuff :)

Hardly the biggest readership on the site, but loyal and hungry for new work.

Speaking of D&D, my wife is watching the Futurama Movie "Bender's Game" and it's at the scene where they're playing D&D and I was half paying attention when they shouted about rolling a 20 and dealing double damage to a Gelatinous Cube and I pointed at the TV and said, "Gelatinous Cubes are immune to critical hits....."

Too awesome! I knew I'd make some good friends here! Nice to meet you!

LOL! That sounds so like me and my fellow players. It's great to meet you! :D

That's good to know, thanks. I had not thought about submitting stories based on my D&D experiences, but I could. I actually have a few laying around. My character from my favorite on going campaign (3 years and still running...I am blessed with a really awesome and dedicated group) is a bisexual male rogue who is quite...frisky (that's putting it mildly. I can hear my group laughing now). lol My DM said my character's love interests and actions have actually led to a few npcs having a much bigger influence in our campaign than they would have otherwise. Good times.

Hi, Brigid, and welcome to Literotica and the Authors' Hangout. :) This is a friendly place, except for a few a-holes.

Brigid, welcome to the lunatic asylum, where the inmates have taken over. Walk right in, set right down, baby let your mind roll on, as Erik Darling used to sing. Have a chair, open a cold one, and beware of trolls and troglodites.

Welcome to the AH. I do play D&D (Pathfinder) also :)

Awesome! I'm currently in a Pathfinder campaign as well, with the same group I play the long term D&D campaign with. My DM designed a test run of Pathfinder for us while we're on a temporary break from our main D&D story. It's been interesting. I play a bard and I have to say I do love the Pathfinder bards! They can be pretty bad ass.

Will watch out for those!

Haha. Oh, you'll fit in here just fine. Welcome. Post on this thread when your story is up would you, please? I'd love to have a read. I've never been your state. Had some of your 'hot sauce' once though.

Welcome.

Get some stories out and post the link. Get your feet wet with the sentence game or the word chains game.

Put scouries on ignore. He is best when ignored.

I keep thinking about doing a D&D-ish story, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Too many things to do all at once.

We do know how to make some hot sauce. I've toured the Tabasco factory several times. It's in the middle of a swamp. The area around it is a huge beautiful garden. It's one of the best bird watching sites I've ever been to. Also, you have to watch out for snakes and gators!

Hello!!

I am a newbie myself and I just want to tell you to be prepared to be branded a spammer on your first 25 posts :D People have a spammer infection here

Hi, Carreira, and welcome to Literotica and the Authors' Hangout. Spam is a nuisance but no more than that, but it's obvious Brigid is not a spammer. She is responding to posts on a thread she started and has no links to other sites. In addition, she is soon going to post nude photos of herself, as is the custom for new members. :)

Hi Brig,
Not much of a D&D player, more of a cave and fresh fish sort of bear. But welcome aboard and stay away from the Loving Wives cat. They's nutz over dere.

Lol Nice try, Hun. I'm afraid I'm taken. My man's got my heart, soul, and exclusive rights to my nudity. ;)

aoi a bhfuil fáilte roimhe!

Nice to have you here, Brigid aroon, but it is the custom that new members of the AH post 3 pics of themselves lomnocht. One frontal, one from the rear, and one of your choice.

We eagerly anticipate seeing more of you.
