Last night, my tech guy was helping me set up a home network. One of my computers (the server) had a video card in the way of where we needed to replug the processor fan. Dude seated the processor and I heard a distinctive "chunk" <wobble> <wobble>. Now I'm not a tech guy, yet, but I'm pretty sure that "chunk, wobble, wobble" isn't the desired reaction when seating a processor.
I was right. We fired that sucker up, and the smoke escaped, proving my brother's theory that electronics are powered by smoke, and once it escapes...
So anyway, tech guy felt guilty as hell, and is replacing my 233 with a 700 mhz and bringing me more memory!
I'm looking around for other stuff for him to fix. Got an old black and white tv he can work on. Maybe get a wide screen HDTV out of it.
That being said, FantasyGoddess says, "Hi" through me.
