Hey Wok

I'm only posting here because
I think the phrase 'kissy shit' in funny.

North Korean leader Kim is dead.

No surprise there. The quick elevation of Kim Jong Eun was a good indicator. However, his cult of personality has not been solidified enough from what I have seen, so if the regime remains stable is very questionable.

Now comes the other very important questions including what will be done with the KPA, its arsenal, its people, and the security of the region.

One more barking mad lunatic dictator bites the dust...in this case, likely to be immediately replaced by his no doubt barking mad son. Everybody train yourself to say/type "Kim Jong-un" when you normally type "boot in the face murderous insane dictator."

Communist China is all over it like a rat on a fortune cookie...

Will it? The cult of personality has not been consolidated. Yes, there were attempts, but there was not enough time. Furthermore, with the serious decline in the economy, the market has by and large replaced the state. There was simply no choice. I have serious doubts the North Korean regime is going to survive this one. I do not make predictions like that too often, but it does not look good.

I can go on, but there is no need to. Events should unfold on their own.

Oh, and China is not going to sit idly by, so ROK better dust off the oplan 5029.

*Sigh*

I think he might have been my
favorite crazy dictator...

he was so easy to make fun of...

Kim Jong Il, won't be down for breakfast tomorrow.

Wok is in mourning..............:)

Obviously, you know more about it than I do. I'm actually fairly glad to see this post. How involved do you think China will be? Use some pretext of peacekeeping to annex the place, you think? Do they even want it?

I'm not sure exactly how to pay tribute, so I think I'll just do what your average North Korean would do in this situation: eat some grass.
