You know, that was my same thought on that book. I'm in chapter 5 or 6 right now, and all I'm reading is Armand madly in love with Marius, and Marius just killed all those nobles.
The gay factor is way high in this book. I figured the book would be a little bit different though, but I still have a long way to go.
The only other Anne Rice novel I have ever read was Interview with the Vampire, which was damn good. Read it on a trip to florida and back.
It gets gay-er??? Ugh.
As far as life? Well, moved out of the frat house in Michigan to come down to Tennessee to take care of my mom. She had a mild stroke, and a slight case of amnesia, which still lurks from time to time. She has major short term memory now, like misplacing things, then almost crying cause she cant find them. So, I'm down here now, like I said, takin care of her. On top of all that, she is bi-polar too, so she has her good days, which are really good, then her bad days, which suck ass. She was ranting sucide the other day. That scared the shit outta me.
i have to admit i found it a bit too gay as well which is a bit ironic
maybe i wouldnt of minded so much if it was two female vamps
but i enjoyed the other vampire books because they were more about story then sex ... this one is too much about sex for my tastes ... if i want sex stories i can come here to lit
