Perhaps he needs a class in remedial English. SPECIFICALLY someone should explain to him the difference between SPECIFIC and GENERAL.
My intent is not to downplay what may perhaps be a serious situation - but this kind of stupidity bothers me. It bothers me even more to think that there are people out there who listen to that kind of nonsense and never question it.
