Hey....I just wanted to share a bit of my poetry....I always enjoy feedback


Wind Canticles

I sit here
rocking slowly
barely breathing
trying to recall the times that the
sun set in the east
and your tongue parted my lips
slipping sweet satisfaction into my mouth
as we danced slowly to the canticles of the wind
Sweet rain drops stuck to iris petals and grass
grew wild to conceal a teenage girl
full of lust....and something else
Sat writing poetry for men and moons and many other
things
but never anything for herself
She whispered "I love you" to the faceless
figure on the edge of her fingertips
that strummed slowly at the strings
holding her head and heart together
playing songs to lull her to rest and
keep her company on lonely nights and rough days
I sit here
slowly rocking
breathing barely
trying to recall the songs of the faceless figure
and how we danced to wind canticles in my dreams
Though grass cut low and rain drops now fall to the ground
I still write poetry for men and moons and
many other things
and whisper "I love you" to the faceless figure
as the strings once strummed
now sit in silence
until he returns
and we dance slowly to the canticles of the wind
