It's been about a week for our intrepid adventurer! What's up wid da boy?

I just had a PM from him today. I'm afraid I can't divulge the vital affairs of state contained therein in any detail, but our lad is well and surrounded with adoring family and (I think this is clearly implied if not actually stated) monstrous quantities of zucchini fritters.

Seriously, sounds like things are settling down and he's getting a little peace and time to get his head together. to the beauteous.

Things were a little chaotic around here with the massive storms and power outage craziness. 500,000 people in the St. Louis metro area are still without power. Though Carson was not affected by the storms and I've got power back and groceries, yay! Today we went out to lunch and went grocery shopping together, which was fun. He's getting settled, but a little stir crazy and looking for a job. I told him he should start a tree service.

I'm fine... been a little blah this past week, getting adjusted to a much slower pace and life without the internet. Splitting with my BF of 5 years has not been easy or pleasant, but I'm much better off now. My dogs are doing well and have finally started eating again after their move.

Now, everyone think good thoughts for me. I have 2 job interviews this week and I can't stand sitting around the house all day any longer.
