The funny thing is she refuses to play either of her hits (I Kissed A Girl and Supermodel) in concert. She's really really underrated because she's not typically cute (although I find her intellect sexxxy) and she's trying to fight being a female Weird Al novelty songwriter. If you ever get the chance to see her and Lloyd Cole and the Negatives live, you MUST go!
Take it from a militant Black man that she's got the sweetest White voice of her late '80's / early '90's generation. She even played a killer acoustic version of a song I hate but love now that she's done a version, Destiny's Child's "Survivor". Shhhhh, don't tell everyone. I have a reputation to maintain. You see, everybody likes to hate someone. I'm that guy. I make people think, do research and the like. It's not that I'm always right, just that most of the time I've already thought an issue out or have done the research when some people were still on training wheels. So for me, many things are "common knowledge" that for others are challenges. I've still got a whole to learn and a very short time to do it in. About 1/3 of the time I'm not even serious, but if people want to believe Militant Black Man, then that's cool too.

Have you heard the song Vrbana Bridge? It's about the lovers (one Muslim, one Croat) in Bosnia who tried to escape. It's so sad.
