Teenagers against the Russian army and they win. Right. Everyone knows that damn Russians have never been good in a fight.
This time it's teenagers against the North Koreans. Granted it's more plausible but still.
Maybe this time they'll explain how so many enemy aircraft get so deep into our territory. In the first movie that was conveniently ignored. As was the whole reason they would invade a small town with zero military value.

I'll bet the story started out as an invasion by China and a PC adviser changed it to the universally disliked North Koreans.

Actually I think you're right. I seem to remember reading something along those lines back when the movie was first in development.
