The PC is 20 years old.
I've been using them as a hobby and for work for as long as they've been in existence.
I'm considered an expert because my knowledge of them comes from a long standing relationship with them, from constant use, together with a home study degree course I took 10 years ago.
So why when I try to help people out with an explanation of what they should do to correct something, improve something or just get something going...you know simple stuff, I'm always shouldered to one side by the eager young guns who all try to shout above each other to give completely wrong advice?
Not from people who know me but from others. Should I coin a new phrase like 'computer literacism' (as in ageism or sexism)?. Or should I just accept my fate?
