i do not like needles. i hate going to the dentist whenever i need to get a cavity done. i can feel them suckers for 3 more days after.

Don't most normal people wash themselves? I've got a genital piercing and so do quite a few other women on the board. Mine stays clean just fine, thanks.


And in all honesty, most piercings don't hurt. Body piercings hurt less than getting your ears done with a Gun, and are much healthier for your skin than ramming the stud in by force the way most people get their ears done.

Of course, a cock piercing would probably be one of the few piercings that are less than tolerable

Did you know the "ear piercing gun" was originaly invented to tag cattle? Someone thought one day, "hey this would be an easier way of piercing". It's totally bad for you. Damages tissue sometimes beyond repair. All of my piercings have been done with needles only. My daughter has her ears and her naval done. They were both done by a professional piercer. I won't go to WalMart or some place in the mall to have any piercings done. (i believe only one training session with someone supervising is the norm for these kind of "piercers") I, myself, don't want someone like that punching holes in my body..

I have a friend with a Prince Albert, there was no pain when he did that piercing done. (He did it himself) They say that No piercing should hurt. If it does, it's been done incorrectly.

I have many piercings.. and none of them ever caused me any pain.

Nope, I didn't know that!

I do know that once I learned why gun piercings were bad, the rest of my ears got pierced by a pro with a needle.

Hell, I was taught to pierce with a gun, and I used to tell the customers why it wasn't a good idea. I got in so much trouble for that but when it comes to things like that I'm not going to lie to make a buck. Fuck that.

i know a lot of the women on here have piercings. i am talking about male piercings and hygene.

i am not knocking piercing, i am just wondering if a male penis is studded and pierced, is the risk of infection greater than a non pierced one? i am thinking about the inside of the pierced holes and the chances of transmitting an infection to a female during intercourse.

Nope, not if the person with the piercing follows the instructions any reputable piercer gives him to the last detail.


There's a reason why you're not supposed to have sex for 4-6 weeks, and why you are supposed to wear a condom for at least another month after that. Not to mention being extremely careful until you're used to how the piercing behaves during intercourse.

Just speaking statistically, the most oft infected piercing (male or female) is the navel.

I have my ears and tongue pierced, all done professionally. My cartilage was more tender the day after it was pierced than my tongue ever was.

I have a thing for pierced nipples but no real interest in genital piercing. Then again, someone could always try to change my mind *lol*.

And yes it's a long time. Which is why I got mine done when I did, with me in New York and BK in Florida.

Of course, now it's all healed up and waiting for the next trip.
