Amil Taheri's article at townhall this AM?

He basically lays our the last several years of failed French foriegn policy. Including their inability to live up to their agreements with their EU partners.

And this is the nation that Dean et al want us to appease?

The new Democratic foriegn policy buzz phrase.

Sucking Up to Failure. ROFLMAO

I'll have to read it.

I read this morning about how the French opposed us getting tough with Gaddafi under Reagan...

And they opposed us again over Iraq.

They are getting close to being sponsers of terrorism themselves...

;) ;)

I don't think Dean will get the nomination. He's the Dukakis of 2004.

Good article. Good read. It is the continued arrogance of Europe and the conceit that lays it blind to the fact that the world is passing it by and it is becoming a tidewater of history...

The same blindness and arrogance that kept them busy at each other's throats during the first half of the last century.

Now that's an interesting prediction.

It also means a blood bath in the Democratic party. I wonder if they could rebuild by '08? Hillary would be ready to "unite" them by then.

William Safire is out there warning us to support and not sink Dean...

I concur 100% We must stop examining his record until AFTER he has locked up the nomination. In fact we should act as if we had seen the light and now sudddenly fear him!

Did you hear yesterday that they "found" the missing 2000 exit poll data. Turns out that the reason it may have been lost is that instead of showing the America evenly divided that Brokaw/Jennings/Rather report on is in fact trending more and more Republican and more and more conservative. No wonder the organization built by these organizations lost the information...

Dean should get smart, go to Nader, work a deal, and take the far left of the party with him over to the Greens. They are closer to his philosophy anyway.

LOL, that data, that trend, and subsequent polls have all shown a steady move to the right.

There are many that think if they hide the data, lie about, or stick their heads where the sun doesn't shine that it won't happen.

It looks like Bush is going to play the "immigration" card too. That is going to be choice. It sounds like a 'carrot and stick' approach.

The harder the left works to demonstrate that Bush is a liar, the closer they come to exposing their own record of deception perpetrated upon the American public...

Uh, Rex, uh, Germany followed France's lead... How embarassing for you!

One single chancellor followed one single president .... please

I'm not going to start eating frogs :D

Pretty much. They "over expose" themselves. People are just tired of listening to them whine and cry and doomsay.

They just can't figure out why the likes of Reagan or Bush, who put out positive messages, win. It galls them for some reason to be happy, or to see anyone else happy.

Hell, go read LT's posts. :D

Don't get me started on, "We were just following one man..."

Take a deep breath, ALL YOU EUROS, and repeat after me,

"The history of the next century will take place on the Pacific Rim."

"The history of the next century will take place on the Pacific Rim."

It's just their legs Rex. The French fix the rest of the Frog up with little Froggy Prosthetic legs. That thought is SOOOOOOOo very French, ya think?

Ishmael

Yes. He misunderstands when we try to help and advise him. He tries to be self-depricating and then offers a negative massage which is completely at odds with graciousness and self-depricative humor. America has always been the land of positive massages and opportunity and now a certain segmant of America is trying to deny this basic reality. A viewpoint that will ultimately be rejected by a people who are constantly looking to the future, not the past.

The Mediterranean is the ocean of the past, the Atlantic the present and the pacific the future.

The Europeans dont think past yesterday, in 40 years France will be predominantly Muslim, Germany will follow suit in about 60 years, if present trends continue.

Fawking losers.

Wonder how the EUs "Rapid Deployment Force" is shaping up.:)

You probably know this old joke about surveys in France of how long a frog could jump ?

Student starts with this frog.
Claps his hands. Frog jumps 3'6".
Student's notes: "Frog with two legs goes 3'6"

Student cuts off one leg,
claps his hands again, frog jumps 1'2"
Student notes: "Frog with one leg goes 1'2"

Student cuts off the other leg,
claps his hand again, frog just sits still
Student notes: "Frog without legs is deaf"
