I'm impressed.

The American Ladies soccor team are the world champions.

There are 1.5 million supporters of the women's game in the US.

Vast amounts of money are being poured into the womens' sport.

And you have crowds and followers that the women players here in Britain can only dream about.

All this I just heard on the TV.

Now if you can get your men to have the same enthusiasm the US might get through to the quarter finals of the main World Cup in June thus ensuring I win my bet.

But seriously nice one lady Yanks..

During my awkward teenage years, soccer taught me discipline, sportsmanship, and brought me a sense of confidence. I am so glad females have the opportunity to participate in team sports.
When I've attended World Cup games, I see so much enthusiasm from young girls.
