What's happened to Bush? Over here we haven't about him for over a week? Is he still Prez?

It's the time delay. It takes around a week for him to translate his thoughts into speech. Over here it works the other way: politicians chatter incessantly and then take a week to clarify what they mean. They usually change their minds in the process, something which Bush may not have the ability to do.
