Just curious, what benefits men can expect to get from straight marriage today? I can think of countless of possible and many certain negatives, can't think of a single positive benefit, legal or otherwise, to men from marriage to women in this day and age.

Don't say sex, because the courts are very clear. There is NO legal expection of regular sexual relations among married partners and with the exception of a single consummation, and even that in only some jurisdictions, there's no legal right to expect sex AT ALL with your spouse.

Most couples have LESS sex once they are married these days. So, what is the benefit?

Financial.

Marriage is simply a way to rape men's bank accounts.

Sure, it can rape a woman's bank account too in those situations where the woman makes more than her husband. However, in the majority of cases this is still the exception.

My wife and I have sex 2-3 times per week, same as when we were dating. And now she swallows and does anal, and ambushes me in non-bedroom places, none of which happened when we were dating.

That being said we didn't get married for better sex it just happened. :D

The point is, no legal expection of sex = no justification for forcing someone to share their income.

A live-in housekeeper who sucks my cock.

No surprise there.

Because women aren't supposed to make more than men, right? Right? Eh?

We have the same education, very similar experience, and she has 2 more years of experience than me. But da men gotta make more, rite??? Just like in 1957.

really? might want to try to find some stats. A lot of women's salary is either equal or surpasses their husbands.

Especially in marriages without kids.

I think the benefit of marriage is- aside from the corny response of love- is company. People are afraid to be alone these days.

I guess that means there is no reason why gay folks can't do it

thanks for supporting same sex marriage

Its complicated, but no. Although the good thing about governments declaring "same sex "marriage"" is that it further weakens marriage in general and hastens its overall demise.
