Greetings

I try not to become too invested in feedback. It is what it is...one person's opinion. Sometimes however it's ummmm interesting as illustrated by this small rant posted at the end of Chapter 10 of Blood and Iron:

so...

wife Natalie and boss Bob were fucking on him, so he goes into this long delusional, fantastical travels in his head, where beautiful maids and strange creatures are part of the story?.... what a complete moron......... does he have a will, leaving everything to the cheating wife, when they finally take him to the psychiatric ward??? poor man,,, can't stand his wife's infidelity, so he invents alternative/time travel fantasies to fill his little mind and laugh to himself, thinking, OH, how the wifey and boss man are gonna get into SO MUCH trouble, if the authority's not able to find his body, because he's gone on to another place and time,,,,,,,,, what a complete moron is this character,,,,,,,,, I love science fiction and time traveling, but not some delusional who started out about how his wife and the boss man have been soiling their bed and how depress he is over it but won't take it any more and how he, magically, is transported into another place andtime!!! that's escaping from reality, going into one's head!!

For a bit of backround:

Blood and Iron is mostly Fish out of Water (my favorite genre) and in it my protagionist is a cuckold. Actually my first in any story but its hardly a major plot point, more the excuse to get him into isolation and start the cool adventure plus the bonus of leaving him a little flawed

I seem to have pushed a "big red button" on this reader with that particular aspect of my hero but I'm thinking I may have learned more about him then about my story

Enjoy the journey

Personally, I loved Blood And Iron....it was great....but that's just me, I guess....he may have been betrayed and cuckolded by his wife and best friend, but as later chapters show, he was no wimp.....

Thanx for the kind words

He's demonstrated that he's not a wimp, at least not my view of the definitions and a case could easily be made ;)

...That he hid out to avoid inflicting sudden violence against cheating wife and betraying best friend.

Enjoy the journey
