I've had morphine in the hospital - made the walls vibrate while I was awake and gave me weird dreams when I wasn't. I preferred the pain.

On the other hand, I find valium is pretty spiffy in a euphoric kind of way.

I had a similar negative experience with morphine. I would wake up on the hour and half hour exactly I would have an anxiety ridden dream in the interval. Awful. It wore me out and it merely turned sharp, hot pain into dull, deep aches.

I have to say as delicious as it is I avoid 'real' coffee. 9 times caffeine hit apparently. Makes me personally very jittery and often mimics heart attack symptoms. Always order 'decaff' in the big chains or if first thing in morning a 50/50..

One thing I distinctly recall is my body extremities becoming progressively more numb (side note: hey grammar nazi Jelly, is "number" a word here...not the numeral?) with each beat of my heart (and my pulse slowed waaaaaay down)

Better than anything. I was lucky that I knew when to stop. My friends started shooting it and they are all dead. A suicide, an overdose, and cirrhosis from Hep C. They were all in their 20s.

Honestly, the only experience I've had with drugs is getting a contact high once. It reminded me of having 2 or 3 shots of Goldschläger (the original 107 proof version). My eyes slowed down slightly but that's about it.

Do not even try it. My brother is a heroine addict. Lost his house, cars, son, marriage, job and ended up living in on the street. Horrible, horrible drug.
