James knew this job was going to be rather difficult. Security surrounding this presentation would be tight. Silently he lept onto the Enigma Tech building. Enigma was the leading company for research into Zulu radiation. They were funded by the United States government, and on this particular night, they were unveiling their prototype Zulu Cold Fusion Generator, and he intended to learn what he could about this machine.
The Labratory where the presentation was taking place was four stories below ground, and James knew the trick wouldn't be getting in, but getting in unoticed.
silently James darted across the roof to a sky light window. It would be alarmed, but he need to have some idea where he was going!
Jumping over the ten foot wide sky light with ease, James dropped over the side of the building. This was an odd place for a labratory, right in the middle of New York, but he supposed that it would be assumed safe considering that not many people would suspect a lab to be hidden under the streets of the city.
He loved the feeling of falling, he had dropped from ten stories to nearly four when his hands shot out and a fourth story window sill, the sill very nearly giving way under his fingers, he smacked into the side of the building hard nearly losing his grip.
It may have been noisy, but with the amount of noise this time of day, he doubted it mattered. Forcing his way in through the bathroom window, James brushed himself off. He looked okay, his ski mask was still in place, and he wasn't sweating. Stepping into the hallway, he crept down the hall praying that all the staff would have left by this time of night.
After a few moments of tension he made it too the elevator shaft that was alarmed at the roof but wouldn't be here. Forcing open the doors, he took hold of the steel cables and began to lower himself down the shaft.
