This RP is meant as an homage to (in my opinion) one of the best TV shows in a long time. Now that discussions are open about a 6th season, I've decided to glance a little bit into the future.
*Story*
The New Generation takes place approximately 15 years after the destruction of Pinehearst and the events of Samuel's Circus. Thanks to the efforts of the Heroes, the secret has mostly been kept, even after Claire's demonstration of what she can do.
The world is now evolving, more and more people with special abilities are arising, supporting the view that the genetic mutation is not only hereditary, but also infectious.
The quiet lives of the Heroes would end soon. In the year 2013, a Chinese man who called himself Yung, managed to keep the entire world in shock for more then 2 weeks as he kept one of the largest hotels in Beijing hostage. Yung claimed to possess unstable radioactive abilities, and that he would not hesitate to implode himself if his demands were not met.
They were simple, recognition of the world's greatest leaders that people like Yung existed in the world and that they would be treated without discrimination.
The actions of this one crazed man, lead to a worldwide hunt. The leaders of the UN declared that every person, male or female, young or old, black or white, that showed any signs of abnormal qualities be reported to local authorities and locked away until scientists could find out a cure of the newly developed mutation.
Ofcourse, they would never find everyone. Two years later, a mysterious group appeared on the internet, calling themselves The New Generation, claiming that they were the victims of racism and paranoia and that they would tear down every holding encampment on the planet.
- This is where you come in. I am looking for players that would like to play a Hero. You can chose to be the son or daughter of an existing Heroes character, or you can choose to create a whole new character.
All Hero characters are preferred to be on the run from their governments, whether in the USA or somewhere else in the world.
I am also looking for one or two people who are willing to play the part of a president or high governmental person.-
