I was thinking about this the other day. Many questions were coming to mind. I'm not one myself, but wondered about how they live in a world that thinks so male-female. Like army toys are for boys and Barbie is for girls kind of thing.

1. What do you put on the applications for "gender?"

2. Dating harder?

3. Would being bi-sexual be easier for them? Where they can be either the male or female role during sex.

4. Would they get the best of both worlds?

5. Which bathroom would you use? You got both, so you kinda really have a choice.

If I were to guess and it's only speculation. I would answer these questions this way:

1. Whatever I feel comfortable with. Or the gender I most resemble (breasts or hairy chest etc.)

2. I would say dating would be a lot harder. Especially the way society is right now.

3. Probably would be more fun for them.

4. It's really hard to say.

5. The men's room. Fewer lines. lol

I think the physical situation is only the beginning of what is often a difficult existence for Hermaphrodites. There are hormonal and emotional issues that go way beyond any simple gender question, many of which are not well known.

I figure anything they want to do is normal. They should be able to make their own rules, as unique individuals.

There are few true hermaphrodites - most "hermaphrodites" are actually either women or men with ambiguous genetalia, but if you look at their chromosomes they are truly one gender or the other - the women do usually have ovaries and a uterus, and the men don't. Look on the 'net using the term "intersexual" for better info.

Now if you are talking "she-males" - most of those are just men who are undergoing some stage of cosmetic surgery to get to "gender reassignment", but in my opinion, even if they went all the way and removed their penis and got a vagina, they are still male. I do not believe they are "she-males" or "chicks with dicks" - they are guys with fake breasts. I have nothing against them - if that is what they want more power to them and I hope they find happiness, I just don't believe changing gender is as easy as changing your external appearance.

There were long threads on this months ago where I argued my POV, and other's argued theirs, and I don't care to get into the argument again as I have already said all I want to say about it.
