For Washington Post's Feared 'Pinocchio' Fact Checker, Forthrightness Dies in 'Updates' to Biden-Burisma Story

By Paul Sperry, RealClearInvestigations
August 09, 2023

For the second time in three years, the Washington Post has quietly “updated” one of the most consequential fact checks in the history of American politics – its October 2020 article undercutting reports that Hunter Biden arranged a dinner meeting between one of his foreign business clients and his father, who was then vice president of the United States.
All told, the Post has run six corrections across its original and revised Kessler stories about the laptop emails and the Biden-Burisma dinner.

By Kessler's own criteria his article should have had Four Pinocchios for his unresearched bullshit that helped Joe Biden get elected.

Easy fact-checking:

Did a Lit Deplorable re-post or say it? = false 90% of the time; no need to check sources.

Did someone else say it? = check sources.

🙂

Fact checkers typically vote their sources, though I usually just corroborate information with a decent number of reputable sources from differing slants. Much easier.

You wouldn't have been so ignorant durng the last election if you had checked correct sources, like we did.

...and then your guy lost.

Sounds like a bad strategy. I'll stick to the truth instead, Reichguide - but thanks! 🤣🤣🤣

The right lies so much i don't believe anything until the dust clears and I find out they Were lying.

Read. The . Entire. Devon. Archer. Transcript.

Devin Archer’s “testimony” about “the dinner” was super sketchy.

The one thing Devon Archer was consistent about throughout his “testimony” was that President Biden NEVER discussed business and NEVER did ANYTHING that was even remotely criminal.

Hope that ^helps.

Good catch RG. WaPo is notorious for its biased reporting. Nice to see Realclear flagging them for trying to propagate this bullshit.

Good for WAPO for updating when warranted then
They only needed to support that lie at election time so Trump could be defeated. Now they can resume with mountainous lies about how great Joe Biden and his destructive policies are.

The claims by the RWCJ about what was on “Hunter’s laptop” were bullshit back then, and the claims by the RWCJ about what is on “Hunter’s laptop” are bullshit now.

Also from the Washington Post:

It’s been done and dusted for a long time now. They’re hoping to rewrite that history on the idea that if they say it enough times that makes it true.

Meanwhile, trump actually did line his pockets via his DC hotel and housing SS and other personnel at his hotels at inflated rates when he played golf

Unlike Joe Biden's business, Trump's is all legal and above board.
