Here's a Wierd One - Not My Story Under My Tagline

It's my title, my description, my tagline, my tags... and somebody else's story. Sort of insult to injury because it festered for a week in the approval queue.

Does this happen very often?

Yeah, I just saw that. Laurel obviously read my PM and she or Manu must be putting Humpty Dumpty back together again.

Story gone now, no communications from on high, so I'm going to re-upload and ask Laurel to jump the queue for me.

Happened to me once. It quickly got fixed when I pointed it out.

A possible conclusion is the same thing has happened with another writer and they’ve got your story and either haven’t realised it or just messaged Laurel. Will we ever know? Probably not but as long as everything is sorted out that’s the most important thing. Annoying after waiting in the queue but a few days, if that, isn’t too long a time. It’s faster than getting an appointment with a doctor in the UK at the moment.

It doesn't happen too often but happens enough. The best you can do is keep an eye out and report them.

Fixed. The story is up and other detritus in my account has been cleaned-up. Laurel said they don't know what happened; they're still looking into it.

The quick response is definitely appreciated.

This happened to me once. I waited with anticipation for the story to go live, and when I finally saw it I was shocked to see someone else's text under my heading. But it got fixed within 24 hours.
