That time of year again.

We're under a tornado watch for most of the night, and the sky is a really ugly yellow.

I'll check in as I can, electricity permitting.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Nothing like the south for severe weather this time of year...

I LOVE the storms and love to watch...but then I see reports of the damage caused by the same storms that fascinate me.......

Take care cloud warrior...I know you know the drill....inner room, away from windows... getting onto a bathtub is a very good shelter...when nothing else is available.

*hugs* fingers AND toes crossed. I think they were actually talking about tornado warnings for here for tomorrow.

They're expecting tornado warnings from Michigan all the way through the Bible Belt to the mid-gulf coast states. Given that Pensacola was hit today, tearing up a daycare center and some homes, I'd say that anyone in flatland areas might want to think about precautions.

Stay safe, Magica and Cloudy.

We're under a tornado watch too. So far, we've only got rain. Let's hope it stays that way.

Just had a squall line pass thru that raised some hell, now the sky is (or was) greenish yellow. Not a peep from the weather radio, but it still looks creepy.

Spoke too soon--tornado watch!

Cloudy, Magica, Crim--y'all be careful out there you hear? :rose:

If your house lands on the chick with the red shoes, GRAB THEM QUICK!

And the guy in the lion suit is not me, I swear, never seen him before ever, really.

Looks like most of it is either south of us, or north of us.

*whew*

caused a few moments of weird panic, though, because spidey's at a friend's house for the night.

Isn't that odd? He wouldn't be any safer here, but still...

were under a tornado warning right now. Im down in the southern tip of Illinois near I57. It looks like the bad stuff just split and went to the north and south of us though. Nothing like watching the next town over get consumed by foul weather while the evening sky relaxes and cools the heat of the day.

Ya know, I really don't miss that at all. I'd rather deal with the earthquake thing.

I keep hearing singing. I thought I'd drop by and say "hi!" My husband drove home through heavy rains, strong winds, hail and quite possibly a tornado this evening. The weather's calm right now.

Hugs and well wishes for all those in the warning zones. Keep safe and warm and dry!!

Tornados west of us last night and haven't heard from a friend in Michigan yet...hope all is well.
