We're under a tornado warning until 4:45 - a little over two more hours. *sigh*

It's too fucking early for tornados yet.

Quick, go get Toto!!!!

The flying monkey is taking good care of the dog, never fear. ;)

Tornado went a little north of us, but DAMN! We've gotten about six inches of rain within the last eighteen hours, and roads are flooded out everywhere. When I went to pick Spidey up at school, the main highway was down to one lane because of flooding.

What, already? But it's just barely January. That's like another fire star . . . uh . . . maybe I'd better just shut up?

I can SO see Cloudy as Dorothy. As she finally wakes up in her own bed, she gazes up at Auntie Em and says, "What the fuck are you looking at, bitch!" :D

um who is taking care of the flying monkey:confused:

Just got a call from the school district - school is delayed two hours tomorrow due to roads flooding.

I love two hour delays! You get to sleep in a bit, or the kids do and you get to enjoy your coffee in your pajamas a little while longer, plus you get the added bonus of actually sending them off to school after that. Early release days, eh, not so fond of them. My opinion is if I have to get them up and to school on time, they should stay all day.

Hope the roads are good to you today. I have power now, but the news is reporting lots of outages due to high winds and sodden earth letting go of the trees. Be safe.

Here we go again...under a tornado watch until 7 pm.

And the hits just keep comin'...

Yeah...oh wait...booo.

Just a thought, I used to live in a tornado state and now I not only live in a tornado state but a hurricane state.

When's hurricane season???

You guys sould just decorate your basements and live in them instead.

it's getting interesting now: electricity back on after about 30-45 minutes of gloom, and we're getting pea-sized hail.

eta: now the sirens are going off again.

I'm looking forward to seeing some when I drive through Tornado Alley in June!

Britain has frequent tornadoes, but they're usually very small.

I love it when nature reminds us who's boss

You'd hate it. The sirens are enough to give me a migraine.

Hey, if you toss Easter eggs into the tornado, you can deliver them all over Alabammy.
