Hoping this thread will bring a smile and a twinkle to someone who has been unhappy of late.

Introducing My Dragons (feel free to introduce any you have)

Idris lives in the anthracite fields of South Wales, the same pitch black colour and diamond strength as the coal from which his cave is hewn. A real hard bastard.

This is Dai, he lives in the volcanic crater at the top of Mt Snowdon. His favourite food is Laver Bread, gathered on the southern slopes before dawn, however this makes him very fat and lazy.

These are picture of statuettes, does this mean you collect dragons?

I have a fairly large collection as well as many pictures on my computer!

You're right, I am twinkling even more after seeing this Funny thing is, I was cleaning house a bit today, moving all my dragons around to really get things sparkling, and realized I knew what my next thread would be when I had time to run about...photos of my dragons! Will take a bit, I've managed to collect *quite* a few over the years, thanks to the giftings from good friends and family.

i'm surprised no-one has mentioned Julie Bell in the art category, although not quite as realistic as boris you can see his influence in her work. rather than tie up your PC with a large pic, try this link :

ooohhh great thread good pics everyone

he he he..you know i've been noticing that the lit board population is into cats, dragons, the colour purple and voyeurism almost as much as me..i feel very "validated" as mm would say

so does anyone else collect oriental silks?
(pj's cheongsams, table cloths etc)..i only have one dragon statuette..it's a chinese lucky dragon..but heaps of my pendants are dragons..and there's alot of them in my silks
