I don't think so.
It's going to go one of two ways.
1) He'll drop out as soon as it looks like he's going to lose the primaries just like last time. His ego can't take an actual loss.
or
2) He'll claim the GOP has treated him badly and he'll run as a spoiler independent candidate (ala Ralph Nader) and siphon off just enough of the GOP nutbag votes to make sure that a Democrat wins.
I doubt the second scenario because it still involves him losing an actual vote and his ego couldn't take it. I have to go with number 1.
