The solitary purpose of my thread here is to thank all the women that read my current piece, titled the same “Her Journal.” I think my story came out on Thursday morning. By that evening I had received half a dozen emails to which I responded to as quickly as I could. A few actually brought me to tears. By the next morning I had 6 more new emails as well as replies back from the previous. I am so over come with emotions. I never in my wildest dreams expected this sort of response from people. It breaks my heart to hear the stories I have read in the last 24 hours from complete strangers. I won’t name any names. But I thank you. Originally I wrote it because someone here suggested I write something from the heart. Something that was me and only me. I have one word to describe this...Bittersweet.
