Her Hero (For Kousotu and I)

It was a massacre. A horrible fire demon had come into Merenwen's home while she was out and she found her whole family there, dead or dying. She let out a loud cry seeing this but didn't know that the monster was still in her house. It had come into the room she was in and knocked her to the wall. Her icy blue eyes stared at it fearfully as it ripped the dress from her body. He had decided not to kill her, but to ravage her body and force her to bear his child. "No!" she screamed, hoping someone, anyone, could hear her.

 

[Kousotu]

Kut'Krel heart her cry, imediently came to her rescue, an ice demon and killed the other one before leaving just as quickly as he had come.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

Merenwen was lying on the ground nude before she realized what had happened. She had seen her hero but he had left before she was able to say a word to him. She was terrified at the carnage that laid around her and scrambled to her feet, running into the forest, not wanting to look back, needing to forget

 

[Kousotu]

He had killed him, a fellow demon, he must hide now. He followed her but stayed silent.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

She had ran until her legs gave out and she collapsed onto the ground crying. She couldn't believe what had happened to her, her whole family, destroyed. But the important thing was that she was alive and physically unharmed. And she had that mysterious stranger to thank to that. She sat on her knees, wondering who he was and if she'd ever see him again

 

[Kousotu]

He watched her, glad she was ok, but not ready to show his face yet.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

Merenwen looked around and knew that it was soon going to be dark. She didn't know if she should go and look for other elves that could help or rest for the night. She tried to stand but she was too tired to get up.

 

[Kousotu]

He jumped down and stood in front of her.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

She let out a scream of surprise at what had come down but stopped herself from another scream, as she saw the face of the man who had saved he. "Y-you" she stuttered weakly

 

[Kousotu]

He was silent except a quick "yes, me" and helped her into a nearby cave, and then left.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

As he helped her into a cave and left, she was confused as to why he was following her and only showed himself for so long. But she couldn't think as slumber was lingering upon her. She curled up, her long white hair covering her naked form, and fell asleep thinking of her rescuer

 

[Kousotu]

He gaurded the cave as she slept, but would not let himself be seen.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

Merenwen was plagued with dreams of rape and murder, tossing and turning. She awoke with a scream, and then tears of sorrow. She looked out, afraid something would come in to take advantage of her

 

[Kousotu]

He watched her constantly, not letting anything near her.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

She sighed,feeling safe, and went back to sleep.

 

[Kousotu]

He stayed close, but did not talk or allow himself to be seen.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

When she woke up, she had recovered some but realized she needed to see this man again, she needed to thank him.

 

[Kousotu]

He kept quiet and in secret, she wasn't ready yet.

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

She walked outside, not knowing what to do with herself now

 

[Kousotu]

He watched her and whispered into her mind. "I can show myself if you promise me..."

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

"What? What do I have to do?" she asked gently

 

[Kousotu]

He could hear her panic. "Promise, no matter what I seem, you will not run."

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

"Yes..." she said nodding, not knowing what was going to happen

 

[Kousotu]

He jumped down behind her, his wings and skin felt like Ice, but he meant no harm to her. "My name is Kut'Krel."

 

[SmiesOfNoOne]

"My name is Merenwen" she said shivering as she felt him behind her. He felt cold against her skin but she knew he wasn't there to hurt her.
