IC:
Ruben was on the verge of being a big success, and he knew it. At the age of twenty four he was, he hoped, about to be offered a junior partnership at the property business for which he worked. 'Huntington Ltd.' had been founded forty years previously by Felix Huntington, now Lord Huntington and one of the most well-respected businessmen in England.
A prime example of social and business success, Felix was now a kind, generous and down to earth elderly man. He still, however, took a very active role in his growing empire. In three years of ill health, Felix had relied on Ruben more than was strictly fair. Now in better heath, and being a fair man, Felix was now prepared to reward the young man for having shown maturity and capability beyond his years.

Knocking politely on the large double door of Felix' office, Ruben waited for the usual "Enter" and adjusted his tie. Opening the door, he found his employer behind his desk, tidying away some papers.
"Ah, Ruben" he beamed, his face creasing around his eyes. "Please, sit down my dear boy" he said, gesturing to a chair.
"Thank you sir" Ruben replied, seating himself and waiting for the other man to finish his sorting. After a few minutes, Felix cleared his desk and looked up at him. "Now, to business" he said, evidently cheerful. "As I dare say you've heard on the grapevine, I have decided to make some rather significant changes to... shall we say, the leadership of the company".
Ruben's heart was pounding now. He'd heard some rumours. Was his promotion imminent? Was he about to get a pay rise? Be put in charge of a special project?
Felix' voice brought him away from his own thoughts. "As you know, you have been invaluable to me and the success of the company recently. And at a time when I am considering taking less work on myself, I think the time has come, Ruben, to offer you the position of a Junior Partner.
Ruben's head swam. He couldn't believe his ears. Junior Partner. The expression on his face brought a chuckle from Felix. "Well, what do you think?" he asked.
"Sir, I'm amazed. It really is most kind" was all the young man could think of to say.
Felix beamed once more, crossing the room to shake Ruben's hand. "There is one more detail", he added. "Seeing as I shall be taking less of an active role, I decided to award a second Junior Partnership." Ruben hadn't been expecting this. If he had to share a position with any of the arrogant bastards from other departments he couldn't bear it. Felix continued.
"After a great deal of thought, I decided to appoint..." He was interrupted by a knock on his door.
"Ah this will be her now" he said, rising and walking to the door. Ruben's curiosity was raised. So, it was a 'she'...
Felix opened the door and stepped back to allow the third person enter.
"Allow me to introduce Miss Alexandra Huntington - my daughter"...
