Michael Goldman used to be a soldier in the kingdom's army but now he lives a quiet life of retirement given the fact that he was only twenty-seven years old but given the fact that he was in a unit that was deployed into the most dangerous battles he was able to retire early. Now his armor set and sword is only on display in his bedroom.
He had heard of a group of people that could transform into animals and while most people didn't like them he reserved judgment until he actually met one of them. He heard that some of them were dangerous but he knew like humans themselves there were good and bad versions of them.
He didn't live far from town so he would occasionally go into town to get food or other supplies and from time to time he would find a woman that caught his eye but nothing ever went far. When his parents were alive he almost constantly hear his mother ask when would he settled down and bring a woman home. He never really had an answer for her.
Today started out the same as most days that brought him into town he was walking through the streets seeing women, men, and children in the streets as well walking, playing, or just standing around chatting. He seen what looked like a new person in town. He couldn't tell if the person was man or woman and if they were homeless or what was going on with them so he continued to shop not wanting to do anything to offend the person.
After he got all his shopping done he seen the same person again but this time he could tell it was a woman and from the looks of her clothing she was either homeless or an explorer in need of new clothes. She slowly walked up to the woman and said "Hello miss my name is Michael and are you in need of help?" He hoped that he wasn't wrong in thinking that she was homeless. The last thing he wanted was to cause a scene in the middle of town. He was fully prepared to help this woman even give her a place to stay until she was able to get on her feet.
