Sometimes its easier to pick one that seems to be just starting, or to try to start one on your own. However, almost always, new characters are welcome! There aren't many rules, mostly common sense ones that run with the site's rules. ie, no kids.
I just started in the highlander thread, its one that has a wealth of room for new characters to come in or to fade away as they please.
Don't worry about making mistakes or making people angry, most of us are pretty forgiving when it comes to goofs, we all did it. And if we get mad, well, we'll get over it.

LOL. See how easy it is ST? Just jump into a thread and have fun. One word of advice. Don't write someone else's part. Just let them be themselves and adjust as the story unfolds. I suspect someone will tell us that this belongs on the "how to" board. Forgive us.
