First time posting and new member (but long-time reader), so not sure if I'm posting in the right place - please move me in the right direction otherwise!
(I posted in "ideas" forum but thinking this might be the place. Yes, Talking Heads pun intended.. :D)

I'm looking for someone to help me continue a story that's been written for me (and with my input along the way), but unfortunately left unfinished, somewhere in the middle. From my perspective, I think the literary quality of the writing thus far is high. I've read a lot of erotica, and I really do think that this is very good. That's also a reason for why I so desperately want it to continue - it's just too good to be left unfinished!

Right now, it's at 9000 words. it's a story of a married woman, who slowly gives into her fantasies and finds herself "falling" for her husband's boss.

I'll be happy to e-mail the writing to anyone who thinks this sounds interesting, and who would feel motivated to "step into someone elses shoes" so to speak.

I understand it would be difficult to copy the style of the writing thus far - but personally I don't think that it's necessary. I would be happy just for the project to proceed, and where we also collaborate about certain parts and both enjoy the ride... :)

Let me know!

What are you looking for exactly? Someone to input, editing, or cowriting.

It could either be a co-writing thing, or someone actually taking over (which fits well in with the dom-sub profile of the story..!) with me acting as advisor/commentator, filling in with details and info for realism. I could go either way.

Are you going to post this story on Lit?

SannaBlonde82. I think it depends on what you want to do with the story. Are you planning a full scale novel or are you thinking in terms of a short story? If you've got to 9000 words that's already pretty long for a short story unless you're thinking of breaking it down into chapters and running it as a series. For a single, standalone story, I'd say 1500 to 3000 words was long enough. People's concentration spans vary and, I know I haven't got the longest in the world, but I find very long stories can be difficult to take in and keep track of. However I'm happy to be of help if I can and please feel free to PM me with more information if you'd like.

The question of what you plan to do with the resulting story is a good one. If you didn't write the first 9,000 words and don't have an agreement in writing that you own that part of the written story, it's not yours to publish anywhere. Do you have a release from the author on the first 9,000 words or are you not wanting a story for publishing on Lit.? (If it's not destined to be submitted to Lit., Lit. isn't a place to be advertising for help at all.)
