Hello Editors,

I write almost continually and editing my own texts is hard. I see the story, not the details. Every time I re-read one, I find new things I missed.

Recently, I posted a novella and there was a fairly important discrepancy: I put in the name of another character instead of the right one and missed it at the editing stage. That's what convinved me to ask for help.

I go over my first draft at least a couple of times to tweak the style, grammar and to catch typos ('the' instead of 'they' is a common one). I still miss some and it bugs me. I hate it when I read a story (even a published book) and come across such mistakes. The worse are the wrong words for the context.

It's a professional bent. I did typesetting and proof-reading for 15 years.

I could use help to polish the final products before I submit them. Only, typos, grammar, some syntax and finding the odd inconsistency. Have no fear. I know I have a special style, but I like it. I don't need a re-write.

Most of what I write in lesbian sex and romance with a good dose of Fantasy. I have been known to write a fantasy scene involving some violence and/or gross circumstances, but nothing too over the top, I think. When my characters take me in a place too dark for me, I delete the scene and spank them until they're in a nicer frame of mind. (One on my novels is stuck because it's inevitably going in a direction I don't really want to go. I think I'll use only the first part and go with those characters instead of the latter two.)

I love humor, double-entendre and ??? (the use of words that sound similar to create a rhythm in a phrase.).

After writing 9 novels and a novella, I'm branching out in short stories for a while. I have 4 novels partially finished. I needed a break from the intensity so I played at writing exercises on Lit and a plethora of story ideas jumped at me. Some will eventually make it to novel length, I'm sure. I'm having fun with the format for now, but the pull of the novel is strong.

If you want to have an idea of my style, look at my posted stories. ("https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=1643541&page=submissions")
"1949 – In the beginning" is the first, written 3 years ago, and "2015 - Kiss me, you fool" the last, written last spring.
There should be 2 shorts there soon.

I work with Word 2013.

I have 2 novels ready to be edited plus a short story and a novelette.

Do you think you can help me? Feel free to PM me.
