Im a new author...just getting into non consent. The problem is i really don't know how far i can go with non consent stuff...i know this is a taboo subject anyway but i'm really not sure how far i can take things without having to post under the 'Extreme' section...any ideas?

Im also struggling a little with certain descriptive words for male / female genetalia...and i'm starting to get repetitive...anyone know of any sites that might help?

Finally if anyone can give me a link to any non consent sites for information that would be great......

Thanks.....Trix xx:p

trix..

...your best bet is to check out some of the other non-consent stories. You might be able to update your genetalia descriptions as well...Sometimes it only seems we are using the same words again and again...and sometimes simple work best. A story is always killed for me when the author tries to use silly metaphors or phrases (does 'love hole' or 'my sharpened sword' turn you on? I didnt think so)

I imagine most anything is fine as long as they are over 18...though I don't know about snuff (i doubt it)...are you going that extreme?

Word Disscussions For trixiefirecracker

At the moment, there are two threads running that are concerned with opinions about aspects of that very question.

"Opinions on words" started by TheEarl

and

"Dirty Words & How To Use Them?" that I started.

Both have produced a number of interesting and useful suggestions from various contributors.

Cool guys...thanks for the input...i'll check out the word threads but you are right about some of them being totally offputting...ive seen som that just totally turn me off.......

With regards to snuff......i dont wanna go down that road as i feel thats too extreme......

Don't know...

...what Laurel's guidelines are for non-consent but in our books we ask that at one point in the story it gives away that it is role play. Probably pretty tame for lots of writers, but them's our rules.

As for developing a lexicon for naughty bits--I always suggest that writers who want to pen erotica invest in several anthologies of erotic short stories. You'll get a wide selection from several authors and from this you can see how it's handled--so to speak. There's a lot of really good volumes to choose from.

It's important that you like what you write so finding a style that suits you is really important.

My two pence worth.

Cool...only like ninety more posts to go then.....sheeesh :D

Im looking at Erotic Books for ideas on wordplay.....although the ones i borred from a friend are victorian Englaish erotica.....and have descriptions like 'mossy grot' i hanvent laughed som much for ages....:p

Although i did find a great book called 'Bizarre Sex'....very informative...heh heh......:p

I could...

...have been more helpful but I didn't want to suggest books that might not toot your whistle ;)

They aren't always easy to find depending on "community standards" in your area but I always found Borders to have a better selection of erotica.

Some of the standard fare are the Mammoth Book of ...erotica, lesbian, etc. Any of the Herotica series (lesbian). And finally, anything with a nice cover! Most of my books are packed away at the moment (house is full of books and I just moved book cases to the office) or I'd suggest some other titles.

Now, some of these books will have some non-consent stories but most of it will be pretty varied. This should be okay for you since you're only trying to find out how other authors use words. The advantage is that most of these books have first rate literature in them and are not wang rags from the top shelf.

Wish studying for school was as fun!

Good luck.

Thanks babe i will have a look for those...you've been really helpful!!

I really gotta get down to some serious reading.......could be fun tho....:D

Laurel has said that "if the victim winds up enjoying it" it goes on Literotica, otherwise it goes to extreme.

The actual application of that somehwhat vague guideline seems to vary with the quality of the story telling -- I've seen some where the victim exhibits very minimal enjoyment but the story is told well. Laurel seems to be easily swayed into bending the rules by good writing. ;)

I really like this permissive society!

They had a Zero Tolerance regulation at Summer Camp :(

Cool....at least i've got a few guidelines now......i really don't wanna wind up on the extreme page.....my friends think i'm mad enough already....heh heh!

Having looked at extreme, it seems you'll wind up there if
1) there's torture or main emphasis on pain, or 2) multiple nasty guys (hostile gang bang).

This agrees with Weird Harold. "non consent" is fantasy whack material where, as might be the case in only a small number of rapes, the victim enjoys or at least comes, and usually in these fantasies ends up asking for more. (Come on, 'guy(s)')

I've only written one non-consent story for here, and my victim's enjoyment of the encounter came against her will as well. Physically she "enjoyed" it, even if her mind did not. It was posted to Lit, so I guess it passed Laurel's standard. (glad for that!)

Normally, on the extreme site, non-consents are more brutal and the victim never comes to the point where they have any pleasure in what is happening to them. I've never seen any snuff on there, but I don't go there often.

Lit's standard for non-consent - even on the extreme site - is way tame compared to what else is out there!

Thats very true......the worst i can write here can't be as bad as whats out there......*shiver*

I kinda like to keep the enjoyment against the will thing going though....it does it for me every time.....
