hey i was wondering what do most people like about storys that attract them to stories?

I am not exactly sure what you are asking,but here goes my answer.
A story that I like is one that the scene written is also playing inside my head. If a story can do that,then I am hooked for life.

I wish you luck in your writing. I know its hard to do, oh, and give me a yell when its done. I like reading almost anything.
What is a story?
Hi Inspiration,
Your story should have a plot. The story itself should have a beginning, middle and end.
It is better for one character to tell the reader about the other characters, then for the story teller to do so. Include small details about who, where, why, when and how. ("Her damn cat would not let me sit in the Lazyboy," I told Tom.)
Sometimes characters should disagree, or smell funny. Things can go wrong. You tell people stories about unusual things that interest you. Something with an interesting twist.
The important thing is to write the story. It will not be perfect. After spell checking it, and reading it over a few times, make some word choice changes and submit it.
Some will like it, and some will not. Whatever else happenes, you will have left behind the poor souls that know neither victory or defeat. You will be in the Arena.
