WANTED: Erotica Writing Partner
“Partner” may not be the correct word here, I’m not sure. Perhaps “cohort” or even “confrere” may be the more appropriate term.
At the current time, I don’t consider myself to be much of a writer. I have written a few stories, but they are buried 3 subdirectories deep in “My Documents”, password protected, and I can pretty much guarantee that they will never be seen on your computer screen. (For this you should thank me!) For now, the best thing that I can say about them is that while they are bad, at least I recognize that they are bad! As an erotica writer-wanna-be, I am spitting and sputtering along and making little progress.
What’s that you say? What am I looking for?? I’m glad you asked!
I’m not absolutely sure, but this is what I think I am looking for-
I want to be able to bounce ideas off of someone. I sometimes get stuck trying to give a story that degree of believability; it would be nice to have someone that might provide just a spark that provides me with a more realistic story line. I need someone to not just proof a story for grammar and style, but who can help me weed out weak parts or make them stronger.
I’m not looking for some great writer with several great stories posted here or elsewhere. I don’t care how much or little you have written. Oh, I need someone who can recognize gross grammar and style problems, sure. But mostly I am simply in need of a person with the intelligence to recognize decent writing; and when he (she?) sees where something can be improved, he can help me to figure out how to do it.
In return, I am more than willing to try to provide all the same things in return. I will do my level best to help you also to the extent of my limited abilities. Perhaps, as writers or writers-wanna-be, we can both grow together, share our erotica likes and dislikes, encourage each other and jack each other up (not off!) when we need it.
Wanna be my buddy? …writing buddy that is! Leave a reply here, post a private message, or email me. Let’s "talk"! I really am anxious to find a good writing companion!
Thanks! "Wida"
