HELP Newbie here!! lol

Ok I just submitted a couple of stories tonight. My questions are once they are submitted where would I be able to view them, like you if you were voting on my story? And what makes a story ready for submission high votes? And last question, how do you add a picture on your profile like I see other members have? Any help for this newbie would really be appreciated!!

Well you have to have a 100 posts before you can get a picture by your name. It is called an avatar or AV. It has to be a certain size as well. 150 x 150 pixels is the maximum size so the picture you attached will have to be shrunk.


Your story should just show up under whatever category you submited it to. This might take a while though depending on how many stories were posted recently.

Howdy newbie Person!

I've not posted a story here yet, (though I will soon), but there's an editing process and once that's done, you're good!

As for the pictures, they're called "Avatars", or "avs" for short. You get to pick one when you make 100 posts. So get cracking!

The wait

I've only submitted one story (available via the WWW link at the bottom of my posts) and it took about 3 days in pending, but I have heard others say it took more on the order of a week, so try to manage your impatience - it probably depends on even more factors than have already been listed.

If you download the attached file, it is the proper size for using as an avatar when you've posted enough - it should look familiar.
