Can any of you help, please? We have Windows XP Professional on our PC. Last night, the PC crashed and on the screen was the e-mail Microsoft Outlook message saying you have new mail, do you want to open it. Vivacia clicked NO and the PC crashed again. After a reboot, a wizard for installing Outlook Express 2002 appeared. She pressed to cancel the wizard and the PC crashed again. At the third time of rebooting, when clicking on e-mail, Outlook opened in Calendar mode and there is no trace of any of our previous e-mails, or the store or address book or anything.

If any of you know how we can retrieve it from wherever it has gone, we'd be really grateful!!!

Ohhhh sure! Blame it on poor Viv!

As for the email, I don't have a clue!

now, now, not taking sides are we? Did I actually blame her.... lmao

Crashes and reboots.

Check compatibility of your modem/driver with Win XP.

Had a similar problem with a cable modem on a brand new Dell with XP home. Every time you clicked on anything in a web site the 'puter would reboot. Got a D-Link XP certified modem and problem over!!!

RhumbRunner:confused:

I think it is a worm too. That's why I don't use microsoft e-mail clients. Too many fucking worms are built for it.

Just to let you know we have got our mail back...

All we have to do now is to make it send & recieve again....lol

Thanx for all your help though
