Help need the American name for .....

I am trying to write a story and need to know the name a product is known as in the USA.

In this country we call it a "WORKMATE" the first one's were sold by Black and Decker.

It is a small folding bench that has an angle iron frame and a top made of two pieces of wood. One fixed and the other slides - wound on two screw threads so that it will clamp a piece of work in place to be sawn or for drilling etc.

Anyone tell me what you call this in the USA?

Its called a Workmate in Canada, and I doubt it will be different in the US.

I have two of them in fact.
