HELP!My PC keeps evicting me...

Darn thing keeps kicking me off...

i keep getting a message that gives me about a minute to save and tells me that it will be shutting down my system.And then it does...

i'm told its a virus...how do i get rid of it?

Apologies...i'm sure this has been covered somewhere...but i'm not sure how to find it....

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Sounds like Blaster.

http://vil.nai.com/vil/averttools.asp is a removal tool.

http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_100547.htm is removal instructions. You may need to disable services per instructions inorder tosstay up long enough for the removal tool to run.

Hey Joanna..... I'm wondering if running scan disk would help..... perhaps defrag your system... LOL I think that is the funniest word... (you'll find it under system tools)

Do you have anything like Norton anti virus...? There is a library now at the top of the how to page.... I am sure there is something there to help.....

Just curious what the message said. Was it Lsass.exe, or LSA Shell? Or something else?

I wished PC would cost about 20 euros, so I could ferociously wreck it everytime it drives me crazy. Damn computers. I admit they made life easier and provided lots of new possibilities, but hey, sometimes I feel like the machines have taken over the world a little too eraly and now start sabotaging the human race.

Exactly this one...i deleted it once and now when i search for it and try to delete it,i am told that i don't have the access or authority to delete...damn thing....i paid for it...i'll throw it out the window if i want to...but it won't let me delete...


Try being in the middle of...ummm....a healthy game of solitaire
and getting kicked off...AARRGGG!

Snoopy...consider something that i'm about to do...get an old one...i can get one for about $5 American...and kick the living tar out of the thing until you feel better...

Just make sure you've got some strong boots on...that old plastic can be pretty tough...have fun,doll

That's actually not a bad idea.
Reminds of this one thing I saw on tv once:
There was a junkyard that allowed people to pay for a certain ammount of time in order to absolutely wreck an old car. They had sledgehammers, normal hammers, saws, etc. and they had a lot of fun.

i saw something like that as well...you pay to wreck a room full of things that make a lovely crashing sound when you swing a ball bat at them....

Ok...here's what going on now...i scanned my system with Stinger...it took forever...then i noticed that i had only scanned one drive so i scanned again...

Thinking that all was set to rights i did a search of my system... just to make sure...lo and behold there it still is...lsass.exe...and i apparently still don't have the authority to delete it...when i try it tells me...

"Error deleting file or folder.

Cannot delete LSASS. Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use."


Now...how do i know if its in use...i don't know what the durn thing does...
