I'm interested in what Lit readers, overall, find appealing or unappealing in stories (as well as the relative degree of the appeal) as I consider what direction to take my story writing.
On a (two-way) scale from negative 5 to positive 5, where:
-5 = an event that is completely undesirable and you would never want to read about
0 = an event to which you would be completely indifferent
+5 = an event that would make you instantly horny (wet or hard, as applicable)
(Note: “Preferred sex” herein means the proposed partner is of the sex with which the survey taker most often partners for intercourse.)
Rate the following scenarios:
1.) A friend / co-worker asks if you will have a threesome with him or her and that individual’s spouse. [You may differentiate between MFM and FMF if the answers are different.]
2.) You discover that a co-worker that you have always found attractive has a secret crush on you and is the source of creative, romantic, but anonymous notes that you have been receiving from an unknown email address.
3.) You are pulled over by an attractive looking police officer (preferred sex) in a rural area / foreign country for a traffic violation late one night, he/she tells you that you can avoid the ticket if you get into the backseat and “take it like a little bitch.”
4.) Your significant other asks if he/she can lick between your toes. 4b.) Alternatively, asks you to lick their feet.
5.) Your significant other asks you to pretend to struggle and fight while he or she (presumably with synthetic gear) acts out anal rape against you.
6.) You are hugging / consoling an adult blood-relative (preferred sex) who is sad when he or she begins to lightly push your face in the direction of his/her genitals while saying to you: “make me happy.”
7.) a.) Your significant other asks if you will help out during the economic downturn by running an internet web camera a few hours a day, presumably in the nude and taking requests.
b.) After agreeing, perhaps reluctantly, you find that your significant other has drummed up business for the site by telling his or her co-workers who are of the same sex and orientation as the significant other, and who you see periodically at office functions.
8.) A pretty female co-worker and increasingly close friend says she has a secret that she would like to share with you, one night after a few glasses of wine. She tells you that she is transgender and has a penis, and asks if you would like to see it and, only if you want, touch it.
9.) Your significant other promises his / her boss (same sex as you) that you will orally pleasure the boss one time only in exchange for a promotion with a substantial raise.
10.) You are surfing through the Amateur Picture Feedback pages at Lit and stumble onto pictures that you immediately recognize as being of your attractive next door neighbor who you had never known to be anything other than perfectly conservative (personally, not necessarily politically.)
