Alright, so the MySpace BDSM forum I earlier mentioned appears to have been deleted.
There are others out there, but they seem lame to the maximum. I have decided it is upon The Marquis to bring BDSM to the Gen Y dominated MySpace, and rightfully claim my position as their leader, Lord and Master of all kinksters below..... say 25 or so.
Obviously, all of you are invited and in fact encouraged to participate. But before the annexation of the impressionable young minds can begin, we need a name.
"BDSM" has been taken by an undeserving group of lollywags that couldn't keep a lively discussion going the day after a national tragedy. The previous group was named Bondage and Domination. There are femme domme specific groups and I think some centered around specific areas of play. I am looking to create a ubiquitous BDSM group for kinksters of all ages, creeds and philosophies.
What say you?
I have considered calling it Charenton, after the mental hospital within which the Marquis DeSade did much of his writing, but as I was about to register that name the hand of God plucked me up from my chair and shook me about the room like a wet puppy to remind me I am but a mere mortal and this hubris will be tolerated no longer.
When I came to, I wiped the blood away from the corners of my mouth and typed this message. Then all of you gave excellent suggestions, one of which I either used directly or was responsible for the name by reason of inspiration.
